"Calm Down, Dear." Nervous System Calm Balm

"Calm Down, Dear" is a simple but potent little balm of calm, formulated with St John's Wort infused oil and Lavender and Rosemary Essential OIls.
St John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) is a nervine herb, and has been traditionally and famously used to support a dysregulated nervous system, which can result in nervous exhaustion, anxiety and low mood. It is great for helping to relieve nervous tension held in the muscles and for repairing nerve damage.
Massage this soothing balm along the base of your skull (pulling skin up, down and across), ear lobes, ear cartilage (gently massaging and pulling) and behind your ears, along with your temples and neck to support vagal tone and help activate your parasympathetic nervous system. Can be used frequently, as and when needed. Again, a little goes a long way.

Organic Hypericum Perforatum (St johns wort), organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Olea europaea), organic Lavandula (Lavender), organic Citrus sinensis (Sweet orange), organic Boswellia (Frankincense), organic Cedrus (Cedarwood) Essential Oils, organic Beeswax (Cera Alba).

As someone who spends a lot of time in nature, this balm supports me to return to city life and its stresses. A little bit on my pulse points and the lavender scent gently calms and uplifts. Another supportive and gorgeous addition to my natural health routine from Rushmead farm.
I was a bit cautious when buying this as my skin has become very sensitive to essential oils. But after trying their other products, Bum balm and Soothe the Womb balm, which also contain essential oils, and had no adverse effects, I thought I'd try this, too. It is a small jar, 30ml, but that suited me. The natural scent of the essential oils is subtle, and the consistency of the balm is soft and silky. I felt its relaxing effect as I was rubbing its silkiness into the back of my neck, base of my skull and temples. A subtle, but lovely peaceful feeling lifting my mood. It is nice to know it's here whenever I might need a mood booster.
