This blend of antispasmodic, analgesic, emmenagogue herbs have been traditionally used to help soothe uterine muscles, stimulate blood flow and reduce menstrual cramps.
Soothe The Womb - Moontime Ritual Tea invites us to slow down and - crucially - take the time to care for ourselves with love and with compassion. We are required during this phase of our cycles to pause, to listen with an inner ear and respond to the needs of our body, giving ourselves the time to rest, bleed and restore. By brewing this very simple decoction and infusion you are entering into a mindful ritual of self love and self care whilst bringing ease to your moontime menstrual flow.
This blend takes up to an hour to gently heat on the stove. Make a pot in the morning and drink several cups throughout the day during your bleed. Take a flask to work or even to bed and have it warm when you rise the next morning.
Cautions: Not suitable during pregnancy.
Ingredients: Organic Cramp Bark (Viburnum opulus), organic Pennyroyal leaf (Mentha pulegium), organic Raspberry Leaf (Rubus idaeus), wild harvested organic Lady's Mantle (Alchemilla mollis), wild harvested organic Yarrow (Achillea millefolium), wild harvested organic Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis), organic Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla), organic Peppermint (Mentha piperita), organic Passion flower (Passiflora).

I love this tea blend, I make a pot in the morning and keep a flask by my desk to drink throughout the day. It's very soothing and helps relieve the crampy bloated feeling I have when I menstruate.
As I am way past the menopause, I thought this herbal tea might have the same soothing and relaxing action on the gut for when I get IBS symptoms, which can flare up at any time and feel much like period pains. I've been looking for something like this for ages. And it works. It tastes good, too.
